Ceremony

On the third day, they gather around my buckwild ignorance. Someone says Young Woman in an American City, the worst slur. Rubies get glued to my teeth. They talk about my girlhood, that defaced church. The rhetoricians begin their end times puppet show. The conception alarm they stuck in me starts singing.
